Nothing seems to be going in flamboyant cricketer Prithvi Shaw’s way these days. After a dismal show for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the Team India discard is trying to impress the selectors in the ongoing Duleep Trophy.
However, playing for West Zone, Shaw’s dismal shows continued as he could manage only 26 in the first innings and 25 in the second innings against Central Zone.
Earlier this year, Shaw was embroiled in a legal wrangle with Social media influencer Sapna Gill in a selfie row.
Sapna had filed a criminal complaint before the Andheri Magistrate court in Mumbai seeking registration of an FIR against Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and his friend for allegedly assaulting her with a bat and molesting her on February 15.
Making matters worse, reports are doing the rounds that Shaw has broken up with his rumored girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia. The rumour about the breakup was fuelled after Shaw and Tapadia recently unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Earlier this year, Tapadia had shared a story on Instagram that indicated that all was not well in the relationship between the two.
Tapadia had shared the Instagram story which had only her snapshot, but in the background song she used a Punjabi song about a breakup.
