Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni might be away from the field, but the former captain of India, still is one of the most loved cricketers. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest players to have played cricket for India.

After winning three ICC trophies, including the T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup and the Champions Trophy, he is now leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to win IPL trophies.

As the legend has taken retirement from international cricket, fans wait every year to see him bat during the IPL. After leading CSK to win four IPL titles, there are reports that MS Dhoni might retire from IPL and will not be available for the upcoming season in 2024.

However, the former skipper recently made a massive statement hinting that he will return to IPL 2024. Attending an event, MS once again dropped a big hint that he will play IPL in 2024. After being asked by the interviewer if fans would get a chance to see him in IPL 2024, Dhoni gave an affirmative answer.

“On popular demand, are we getting to cheer for you in the CSK team next IPL,” asked the interviewer.

In reply, MS said, “I’m trying my best. Like all of you know I had gone through a surgery on my left knee. Doctors have said that by November the knee will be as normal as possible. So, if everything goes the right way, definitely I will be part of the CSK team. If not, we all will watch the IPL together.”

The crowd burst into whistles and applauds after Dhoni’s sweet answer. In the same event, MS Dhoni also talked about the importance of being a good human being. He said that he wants the world to remember him as a good human being rather than a good cricketer.
