Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya is currently struggling with his form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). Considering his poor form with both bat and ball, many former cricketers are of the opinion that Hardik should not be included in the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in West Indies and USA.
However, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has thrown his weight behind Pandya. As per Yuvraj, who has hit six sixes in a T20 game against England, Pandya has also the ability to emulate his feat in the shortest format of the game.
As per the former great, Hardik Pandya should be included in the Indian team for the marquee event irrespective of his form. Yuvi feels that both Hardik and Dube should be part of the India squad as he wants to see more explosive batters utilised in the middle order.
“I would like to see Shivam Dube in the squad. He has been in and out of the India team, but this IPL he has been batting very well and he is someone who can be the game-changer. There are a lot of other guys who have been playing for a while now, but I would like to see Shivam Dube in the mix,” said Yuvraj.
