“I know fake news is easy to spread, but this made me laugh. Sources unreliable,” wrote Bumrah on his social media account X (earlier known as Twitter).

As per sources, Bumrah is likely to report to the BCCI’s National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for a thorough medical evaluation. However, no fixed date has been set for his visit.

Notably, there is suspense over Bumrah’s addition in the Indian team for the upcoming Champions Trophy. It is expected that Bumrah will be available for the team after the group stages of the mega event. Without Bumrah, Team India’s bowling attack looks weaker.
