Women staff engaged under Mission Shakti in Odisha accused of distributing money to voters 

BJP MLA candidate for the Nimapara Assembly seat, Pravati Parida filed a written complaint with the BDO in this regard, seeking an investigation and action against the three.

A master bookkeeper (MBK), a community resource person (CRP) and GPLF president working under the Odisha Mission Shakti department were accused of distributing money and sarees to SHG women at Nua Kholamara panchayat under Gop block of Puri district to influence voters in the upcoming fourth phase elections. They were reportedly nabbed by women BJP workers while distributing money. 

They have been identified as MBK Jayanti Sahu, CRP Kaberi Maharana and GPLF president Sabita Khandual.
