BJP National Vice-President and party’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda on Saturday took a dig at Biju Janata Dal (BJD) by projecting the sharp contrast being visible on the ground during the ruling party’s programmes and BJP events by the top leadership.
While addressing the party workers' meet in Balasore, Panda stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently invited the people of Odisha for the swearing-in ceremony of BJP’s CM candidate on June 10.
“There is no doubt that Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister of India for the third time with 400 plus seats. It is now the responsibility of all to ensure BJP’s government for the first time in Odisha,” said Panda.
The visible massive public mandate for Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sure to bring a change in Odisha, said Panda. Taking a dig at Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and BJD leader VK Pandian, Panda said that only two persons are touring in helicopter, sharing comedy, AI, deepfake videos and addressing public meetings with empty chairs.
“The situation is such that our workers' conference is generating a huge response than BJD’s public meetings. Whenever top central leaders of the BJP are holding roadshows and campaigns, it is boosting the party. The people have already made up their minds to vote for a change. But it is the work of all the BJP party workers to ensure that every vote reaches the ballot boxes,” said Panda.
Panda also urged the party workers to hold small meetings in every part of the state to highlight Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee, Subhadra Yonaja, Ayushman Bharat and other schemes.
“The BJD is resorting to tactics and conspiracy with a fear of losing polls. It is every BJP workers’ responsibility to highlight the party’s slogan – 'Dui Thara Padma, Dui Thara Vikas', so that BJP candidates can win maximum Lok Sabha and Assembly seats,” said Panda urging workers to work hard on the key points shared during today’s meet.
