BJP National Vice President and Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate, Baijayant 'Jay' Panda visited Puri Srimandir and sought blessings of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra on Tuesday.
Panda reached near Srimandir amid a rousing reception by the servitors and BJP supporters. The servitors presented him ‘Khandua’ of Lord Jagannath. Subsequently, Panda had the darshan of Lord Satyanarayan, Goddess Mangala and the Holy Trinity at Srimandir.
After having darshan of Lord Jagannath Panda said, “This time there will be only Modi, Modi and Modi. NDA will win more than 400 seats this time. The pace of the development works undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will double up in the next 10 years and the roadmap of developed India will be strengthened.”
“There is massive support for Modi Ji and Lotus symbol in Odisha. There is also support for Sambit Patra in Puri (BJP’s Puri Lok Sabha candidate). There is huge support for BJP across the State. BJP will perform very well in the upcoming election,” Panda said.
“You all have seen Modi Ji’s guarantee. Under Modi Ji’s leadership, India’s image has changed a lot, even at the global level. However, some of the schemes of Modi government have not been implemented in Odisha till now. The people of Odisha have been deprived of the world’s largest health insurance scheme- Ayushman Bharat. The guarantee of Rs 5 lakh to each family has not been provided in Odisha yet. People of the State have already made up their minds this time to bless the BJP and make Modi Ji successful. All the schemes of the Modi government will be implemented in the State with double-engine governance,” he added.
As per the senior BJP leader, India under PM Modi’s leadership is now the fifth-largest economy in the world. “Infrastructure and industries are being set up and crores of people are getting employment across the country. This kind of development will also happen in Odisha from now on. Under Modi Ji’s leadership, around 25 crore people in the country have moved out of the poverty line. Now, Odisha’s turn has come. Under the effective leadership of Modi Ji, Odisha will witness growth and development,” the senior BJP leader said.
“Lakhs of pucca houses have been provided under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. But some people wanted to take credit for it which has been stopped now. Though the Modi government is ready to provide pucca houses to the people under the scheme, it is not being implemented in Odisha. Now, it will be properly implemented in the State,” Panda assured.
Along with Panda, BJP’s Puri Lok Sabha candidate Sambit Patra also visited Srimandir to have darshan of Lord Jagannath.
“PM Modi has guaranteed people of development. Modi Ji is a great devotee of Lord Jagannath and the Lord has blessings on him. All our candidates in 21 Lok Sabha seats across Odisha will win with huge margin of votes,” said Patra after darshan of the Holy Trinity.
