A wordy duel broke out between the BJP and the BJD after PM Modi claimed that BJD's 'expiry date' is June 4, 2024. BJD claimed it is preparing the oath-taking ceremony of Naveen Patnaik as Chief Minister for the sixth term.

A war of words broke out on social media between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the ‘expiry date’ of the ruling party is on June 4, when the results of the 2024 elections will be announced.   

The Prime Minister said this while addressing the Vijay Sankalp Samavesh at Kainsi in Ganjam on Monday.
