No mobile phone allowed inside vote counting centres: Odisha Police ADG 

In Odisha, a stringent three-layer security protocol will be enforced at vote counting centers for 21 Parliamentary and 147 Assembly constituencies.

The counting of votes will start tomorrow with three-layer security in place at the counting centres. No one will be allowed to take mobile phones into the centres, informed ADG (Law and Order) and State Election Nodal Officer Sanjay Kumar on Monday. 

Addressing a presser, ADG Sanjay Kumar said, “The counting of votes for 21 Parliamentary and 147 Assembly constituencies will start from the morning tomorrow. There will be a three-tier security arrangement at the counting centres. While the CAPF will be in charge of the inner layer of security, the Special Armed Police of Odisha will be in charge of the second layer of security and the district police will ensure the third layer of security.”
