After launching a broadside on BJD at a public meeting in Chilika, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a massive public meeting at Mahanga under Kendrapara Parliamentary constituency where BJP’s national vice-president Baijayant Panda is contesting for the prestigious Lok Sabha seat.
While addressing the public meeting, Yogi Adityanath appealed to people to vote for MP candidate Baijayant Panda and other BJP candidates contesting from various Assembly constituencies.
“I have come here to appeal to you that when the bureaucracy takes over the Parliamentary democracy, there is corruption, irregularities and dictatorship, exploitation of people and mafia raj. In the last 20 to 25 years, officer raj has hijacked the governance and pushed the state backwards by 50 years. The people have now an opportunity to vote for a double-engine government like Uttar Pradesh,” said Yogi Adityanath.
'India's Borders Strengthened; Terrorism & Naxalim Ended Under PM Modi'
“Even if there is a cracker explosion, Pakistan is the first country to say that it has nothing to do with it. This is a new India that doesn’t leave anybody who dares to cause any damage to the country. There has been massive development in the country, be it highways or railways. Focus has also been given to the development of education and health sectors. More airports have been built than what was there till 2014,” said Yogi Adityanath.
'Modi Sends Ration, But Naveen’s Babu Hijacks It'
The BJD government is misleading people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sending ration, but the officers of Naveen Babu are hijacking and branding it as their own, alleged Yogi Adityanath The Tamil babu is not allowing implementation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme as the commission culture would end, he alleged.
“Through DBT, the Prime Minister has ensured that the money centre from the Centre reaches the accounts of the beneficiaries and eliminated the middlemen. It is surprising how Odia Asmita has been played with and the government is protecting the killers of Swami Laxminananda Saraswati. The officers have promoted land mafia, coal mafia and playing with the future of the youths and looting the natural resources of the state,” said the UP CM.
'Cheap Electricity To Others, High Rate Charged From Odisha Consumers'
Yogi Adityanath alleged that the consumers of the state are being charged high rates for the electricity while it is being sold at cheaper rates outside. This is only because Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has been misled by the officers.
“You have given Naveen babu to serve for such a long period. But unfortunately, there has been not much development. Uttar Pradesh was affected by cattle mafia, land and mining mafia in 2017. But now the mafia raj has ended in Uttar Pradesh and the property is being used to construct schools, hospitals and other public utilities. We have put better use of bulldozers to protect businessmen and women,” said Yogi Adityanath adding that Uttar Pradesh is now a model state in the country.
Kendrapara Lucky To Have Leader Like Baijayant Panda - UP CM
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that the people of Kendrapara are lucky to have a leader like Baijayant Panda.
“As Baijayant Panda was election in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, I was thinking UP would get his leadership. The election process had just started, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top leaders stated that Kendrapara needs Baijayant Panda so that he can work for the people and come up with the best model for Odisha as per his vision. Baijayant Panda ji worked for a short period in Uttar Pradesh, but he came up with the best model by working with the organisation. Baijayant Panda is Odisha’s gift and whenever he speaks in Parliament or other parts of the globe, the image of Odisha gets a new high,” said Yogi Adityanath.
CM Yogi further said that Baijayant Panda is fighting for Odia Asmita, development and also standing tall against the misgovernance and dictatorship of Naveen Patnaik's government. "...But the Tamil babu has taken Odia Asmita for granted and his aim is to take Odisha backwards," said Yogi.
“The Tamil babu will ensure rise in infiltration and religious conversions. It is the responsibility of the people to ensure that such plans do not materialise,” said Yogi Adityanath
'Ruling BJD Has Kept Odisha Away From Development' - Jay Panda
BJP Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda said, “In the last 10 years, the fate of India has changed under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Modi ji has lifted 25 crore people out of poverty. However, the ruling party in Odisha has kept the state away from development."
"PM Modi has invited people for the oath-taking ceremony of BJP government. Hence, I appeal to people to vote for the BJP. The expiry date of the goondaraj by the non-Odisha coterie that has hijacked governance here is near,” Panda added.
No comments could be obtained from the ruling BJD over the allegations of the BJP leaders.
