BJP National Vice President and the Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda held a massive roadshow in Mahakalpara of Kendrapara on Sunday.
The BJP stalwart along with the party’s Mahakalpara MLA candidate Durga Prasanna Nayak was seen amid a long motorcycle rally in which thousands of party workers and frontline leaders took part.
The massive roadshow started from Rahama and passed through scores of villages of four panchayats covering a 30-km distance before culminating at Jambu.
The rally passed through Babar Bazar, Gagua, Lanjuda, Bhopal, Jagatjora and Sunit.
As per reports, the rally received a rousing welcome and a good response from people all along the way. It was learnt that the roadshow witnessed participation of a large number of women while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantees for farmers, women, youths and healthcare for all are making an impact on rural people who have started relying on the BJP.
BJP workers in Kendrapara are reportedly quite enthusiastic and upbeat about the BJP’s excellent electoral results.
Baijayant Panda and BJP’s Aul MLA candidate Krushna Chandra Panda had also held a huge rally a few days ago in Aul. A 17-km-long roadshow which started from Singiri panchayat and ended at Siddhabali, covering six panchayats including Angaraksha, Mahanpur, Batipada, Thakurasahi, Sanamanga, Panchakapada, Kulasahi and Rainlo, drew a massive response from the people.
