BJD minister Bikram Arukha loses cool after being stopped for vehicle inspection; video goes viral

In Odisha, a video showing BJD Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha shouting at election surveillance personnel after his car was stopped has gone viral. This incident during intensified checks to ensure fair elections raises questions about rule exemptions for ministers.

It is election time and several joint squads have stepped up surveillance in different parts of Odisha to put a check on illegal flow of cash, liquor and other articles which are essential for ensuring a free and fair election in the state. Amid this, a video has now gone viral on social medial in which BJD Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha is purportedly seen shouting at the personnel of one such squad in Ganjam district.

As per sources, the BJD Minister’s car was stopped by police personnel near Tanarda under Belaguntha police limits. Subsequently, the Minister stepped out of his car and shouted at the personnel and said in a loud voice to check his vehicle.
