All booths in Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat to be Sakhi booths

All the booths in the Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat will be Sakhi booths, which will be managed by women polling officials only.

As per reports, the Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat will have 200 booths where women security personnel will be deployed on election duty.

The women polling and security staff have been imparted training on how to conduct election duties and extend facilities to women voters. 

Speaking to the media, Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda said, "Our women security personnel will provide security at Sakhi booths.

There will be no problems. As per the scale of deployment prescribed by the Election Commission of India(ECI), adequate number of women security personnel will be deployed at these booths.”

Panda also added that these woman security staff have taken training on managing elections.
