Mamita Murder Case: BJP To Observe 12-Hour Bandh In Sambalpur

The BJP’s Sambalpur unit will observe a 12-hour bandh in the district on October 26 demanding the removal of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged close proximity with Gobinda Sahu, the prime accused in the Kalahandi school teacher Mamita Meher murder case. The BJP also sought a CBI probe into the matter.

The Sambalpur BJP district president, Girish Patel in a presser on Sunday said the bandh will begin at 6 am and party will not allow vehicles to ply on roads. However, emergency services like ambulance, milk, water, medicines and fire brigade have been exempted from the bandh purview.
