Jayanarayan Mishra-lady IIC scuffle: BJD demands action, stages protest in Bhubaneswar   

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Mahila Morcha demanded action against BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Odisha Assembly, Jayanarayan Mishra.

The controversy surrounding the scuffle between BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Odisha Assembly Jayanarayan Mishra and lady police IIC of Dhanupali police station escalated further with the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Mahila Morcha staging a protest at the Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. The protestors demanded action against Mishra. 

On Wednesday, BJP members led by LoP Mishra took out a massive rally from Ashapali School under Dhanupali police limits in Sambalpur district, protesting against the deteriorating law and order situation in the State. When the party members tried to gherao the Collector’s office, the police resisted them leading to a scuffle between Mishra and Dhanupali police station IIC Anita Pradhan.
