While the Odisha government has so far released the first installment of flagship programme Subhadra Yojana in three phases, there are over 5 lakh women beneficiaries still on the waiting/process list. The fourth phase of the first installment, which is scheduled to be disbursed on December 25, has been postponed until the verification and completion of the E-KYC process.
Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday informed that the 'government has decided to postpone the release of fund in the fourth phase as it aims to cover all eligible beneficiaries, as this is the last phase'. As many as 20 lakh beneficiaries would have received the fund in the fourth phase.
What to Do If Your Are Yet to Receive Subhadra Money:
If you are yet to get assistance money under Subhadra Yojana, here are the things you need to do:
- Applicants who are facing problems in E-KYC process must update their biometrics.
- Those who have done their E-KYC through mobile OTP have to do it once again through biometrics. For that they can visit Jana Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra.
- Applicants have been advised to put up their grievances on the Subhadra portal or visit the block office, local sarpanch, or anganwadi workers.
- Besides, help desks comprising Anganwadi workers and CDPOs have been set up to help applicants facing problems in the application process. You can visit there.
- The members of the help desk team, with the help of people’s representatives, will visit villages to help the applicants. You can share your issues then too.
Moreover, Revenue Inspectors have also been advised for field visits and resolve any land-related issues.

Notably, Subhadra Yojana was one of the major promises made by the BJP for women in its election manifesto in Odisha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ambitious Subhadra scheme of the BJP government on his birthday, September 17, 2024.
Under the scheme, each beneficiary will receive Rs 10,000 per year in two installments of Rs 5,000 each one on Rakhi Purnima and the other on International Women’s Day (March 8).
