Tension gripped the Palasuni area in Bhubaneswar late on Saturday night after a violent clash erupted at a hookah bar and restaurant named 'No Limit'.

According to reports, an altercation between two groups inside the establishment quickly spiralled out of control, leading to a full-fledged brawl. As a result, the bar was turned into a scene of chaos and bloodshed.

The incident has raised serious questions about the functioning of the hookah bar. Locals alleged that the hookah bar routinely remains open throughout the night, often beyond permissible hours. Despite the late-night operation and the ensuing violence, no information was reportedly passed on to the police while the fight was underway.

Mancheswar Police, however, reached the spot after being alerted later and have initiated an investigation into the matter. Officials are examining CCTV footage and questioning staff to ascertain the exact sequence of events that led to the clash.

Meanwhile, the late-night brawl has sparked public concern over the mushrooming of such establishments in the city and the lax monitoring of their operations.
