Utkarsh Odisha Conclave: 60 platoons of police force, 400 officers for PM Modi’s security

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on January 28 to inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave, a significant event focusing on the state's socio-economic development.

Ahead of the Prime Minister's arrival, extensive security preparations are underway in Bhubaneswar, the state capital. 

Following guidelines from the ‘Blue Book’, which outlines official security protocols, a full rehearsal of the Prime Minister’s motorcade was conducted in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

Enhanced traffic management and route safety measures have been implemented, with the Special Protection Group (SPG) overseeing these arrangements, sources said.

Reportedly, a substantial deployment of security personnel will be in force during the Utkarsh Odisha conclave. Besides, 60 platoons of police, along with over 400 officers, will be on duty to ensure the safety and smooth execution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s engagements.

PM Modi's Itinerary for Utkarsh Odisha Conclave

The Prime Minister’s itinerary in Bhubaneswar is concise, spanning just two hours and 20 minutes. PM Modi is scheduled to arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport at 10:35 am in a special Air Force aircraft. From there, he will proceed directly to Janata Maidan by road.

The Utkarsh Odisha conclave will take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. After concluding the event, Prime Minister Modi will return to the airport at 12:35 pm and is expected to depart for Delhi at 12:55 pm.
