Baba Dhirendra Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham, who was in Puri during his Odisha visit, has called for a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Speaking to journalists, the Baba who has been vocal about ‘Hindu Rashtra’ said that the time has come for all the Hindus to stay united for a common cause.
Furthermore, he said that the trumpet of the Hindu Rashtra can only be blown from Odisha.
“Odisha is a spiritual state, my heart is overwhelmed after worshipping Lord Jagannath. The trumpet of Hindu Rashtra can be blown only from Odisha and we need the support of every Hindu of Odisha under any circumstances. You support us and together we will give you a Hindu Rashtra,” Dhirendra Shastri said as he called upon his supporters and followers.
“Odisha is a spiritual land. The trumpet for Hindu Rashtra can only be blown from Odisha. No matter under what circumstances, we need the support of every Odia Hindus to turn our dream of ‘Hindu Rashtra’ into reality. You support us and we will all together make Hindu Rashtra,” the Baba added.
During his visit to Odisha, Baba Dhirendra Shastri visited the Puri Srimandir and sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath and his siblings. He was seen entering the 12th century shrine amidst tight security. After coming out of the temple, he claimed to be fulfilled and in inner peace after having the 'mahaprasad'.
Earlier, he had recalled the statement of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and said, ‘Batenge Toh Katenge (If divided, we will be cut)’.
“What is wrong if we demand a Hindu nation? They demand Ghazwa-e-Hind, so we demand Bhagwa-e-Hind,” he further added.
