SUBHADRA Yojana: Know who will get Rs 5,000 on October 9
In good news for Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries, women excluded from the first phase of the BJP government’s ambitious scheme will now receive their first installment of Rs 5,000 on October 9 for Dussehra. This was announced by Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida.
All eligible beneficiaries, awaiting their first installment of Rs 5,000, will get it on October 9, a Dussehra bonanza from the Mohan Majhi government. However, to avail the money, all the beneficiaries will have to apply on or before October 7. Beneficiaries who will submit their applications on or before October 7 will only receive the amount in their bank accounts on October 9.
There is also good news for all those who may not be able to submit their applications before October 7 for some reason.
“Subhadra Yojana is for every woman. There is no such deadline. Around 40 lakh women will get the money credited to their bank accounts on October 9. However, our target is 1 crore women beneficiaries. So, I appeal to my mothers and sisters not to panic and to apply for it. The remaining beneficiaries will receive money in the next phase,” informed the Deputy CM.
The second phase of money will be released on October 9 at an event in Baripada in the attendance of CM Mohan Majhi and other cabinet ministers.
