SUBHADRA Yojana form submission starts today; here's how to get first installment from Sep 17

Submission of forms for the Odisha government's ambitious Subhadra Yojana has begun. Forms are available at Anganwadi centres, block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras. Amidst several debates and criticism by the Opposition, the submission of forms for the Odisha government’s ambitious Subhadra Yojana has started today. The application forms for the BJP government’s dream scheme are available at Anganwadi centers, block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras.

The application forms are free of cost. The first installment of the flagship scheme will be released on September 17, on PM Narendra Modi’s birthday. To get their first installment, women applicants need to fill out the form and submit it at the nearby Mo Seva Kendra or Jana Seva Kendra.

Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will receive Rs 5000 each in two installments, a total of Rs 10,000 in a year and Rs 50,000 in five years. The money will be credited directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

The state government has also issued a toll-free number 14678 for any information regarding the Subhadra Yojana. People can call the number and collect detailed information between 6 am and 10 pm.

2.    Mobile Number
3.    Bank Account
4.    Ration Card

Eligibility Criteria

1.    The applicant should be a resident of Odisha
2.    The applicant should be covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
3.    Applicant’s age should be over 21 years and less than 60 years

Ineligibility criteria:

1.    Family income should not be more than Rs 2.50 lakh.
2.    Women receiving financial assistance such as pension, scholarship of Rs 1500 per month or more than Rs 18000 per annum.
3.    A family member is MP or MLA
4.    An Income Tax Payee
5.    An elected public representative in any Urban Local Body or Panchayati Raj Institution
6.    The family of the applicant owns more than 5 acres of irrigated land or 10 acres of non-irrigated land.
