In view of the President of India’s four-day-long Odisha visit starting December 3, the Commissionerate Police has come up with traffic restrictions which will be in force from December 3rd to December 6th.
As per the advisory issued by the Commissionerate Police, no vehicle will be allowed to ply on the roads and its connecting lane / by lane on the date and time as mentioned below.

4.50 PM to 5.35 PM:

6 PM to 6.30 PM:

Further, on 05.12.2024 at 5 PM to 7 PM no heavy vehicles/buses are allowed to ply on the road i.e. from Kalpana Sqr. to Lingipur Sqr. and vice versa. They will avail the road as mentioned below:
Heavy vehicles / Buses coming from the Puri side intending to go towards Bhubaneswar / Cuttack side will avail the Bypass road at Lingipur chhak and proceed through Keshura chhak and Pandra chhak.
Similarly, heavy vehicles/buses coming from Cuttack / Bhubaneswar side intending to go towards Puri will also avail the same route via Puri Bypass road.
The Commissionerate Police has clarified that the traffic restrictions will not be applicable for emergency vehicles (Fire and Ambulance) and requested people to plan their route accordingly to avoid delay.
