Prime Minister Narendra Modi was treated to a selection of traditional Odia delicacies at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party office in Bhubaneswar.
The traditional Odia cuisines like ‘Santula’, ‘Jahni Aloo Rai’, ‘Dalma’, and ‘Chhena Poda’ were offered to the Prime Minister and other guests at the BJP party office.
These dishes, renowned for their authentic flavours, were expertly prepared to reflect the traditional style of Odisha.
In addition to the above-mentioned classic dishes, the menu also featured ‘Bhendi Bhurji’ and ‘Aloo Methi’. Similarly, the main course comprised savoury delights such as ‘Matar Paneer’, ‘Tava Vegetables’, and ‘Malai Kofta’.

The items were also balanced with the unique tastes of Gujarati-style ‘Moong Dal Khichdi’ and “Veg Dum Biryani’.
With several types of sweets, the evening came to an end, ensuring that every guest left with a sweet taste of the diverse Indian cuisine.
These carefully prepared dishes were not only a feast for the senses but also a nod to preserving the cultural heritage that they represent. By serving such a variety of regional foods, the event paid homage to the state’s rich culinary history, providing a taste of Odisha’s cultural identity amidst the bustling political activities.
Before coming to the party office, the Prime Minister addressed a gathering at the airport square. During his speech, he mentioned the masala tea he had sipped at Odisha Parva from a vendor from the state in New Delhi.
