OSSSC RI, ARI, Amin recruitment: Odisha minister vows transparency after all candidates clear prelims exam
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari offered his reactions after all candidates who appeared for the recent RI, ARI, and Amin examinations conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) were declared successful.
Speaking to the media, the minister acknowledged that several discrepancies were observed during the selection of examination centres. He emphasised that maintaining transparency in such large-scale recruitment exams remains a significant challenge.
Further, the Minister also revealed that the issue had been discussed during a recent cabinet meeting.
Commitment to Transparent Recruitment
The minister clarified that although the OSSSC is responsible for conducting these examinations, the actual management of the exams is often outsourced to private agencies.
Despite this, every possible effort is being made to uphold the integrity of the recruitment process.
Minister Pujari assured that complete transparency would be maintained throughout the examination cycle, adding that this commitment is non-negotiable to ensure fairness for all candidates.
“These examinations are not conducted by the state government directly. The OSSSC conducts them. Due to a lack of staff recruitment during the previous government, the OSSSC outsourced these exams, resulting in a lack of transparency. However, we have held discussions on it and I can assure that no such discrepancy will occur,” stated Suresh Pujari.
