Odisha’s second AIIMS to come up in Sambalpur: CM Mohan Majhi

In a piece of good news for Sambalpur residents, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Sunday announced that the district is going to have an AIIMS. 

On the occasion of the launching of CM –Kisan Yojana at GM University auditorium in Sambalpur, the Chief Minister ,while addressing the gathering, informed that Sambalpur will soon get an AIIMS, which will be the second one in the state. 

The state government has already placed the demand for a second AIIMS before the centre, he added.

The Chief Minister also announced the launching of Krushi Vidya Nidhi Yojana for the children of CM-Kisan Yojana beneficiaries. The beneficiaries’ children will receive the assistance as scholarships for higher technical education. 

On the occasion of Nuakhai, the Chief Minister launched CM-Kisan Yojana under which around 46 lakh farmers received Rs 925 crore.
