The fourth phase of the first installment of the prestigious Subhadra Yojana, which was scheduled to be disbursed on December 25 on the auspicious occasion of Christmas, has been put on hold for the time being, informed Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida.
With over 5 lakh women beneficiaries still on the waiting/process list, the Odisha government has decided to postpone the payment of the fourth phase until the verification and E-KYC process is completed.
With an aim to cover all eligible beneficiaries, as this is the last phase, the government has decided to postpone it until the verification process is over, the Deputy CM informed.

“Over 20L women beneficiaries will benefit from the fourth or the last phase of the first installment of the ambitious Subhadra Yojana. So, applicants who are facing problems in E-KYC process must update their biometrics. Moreover, those who have done their E-KYC through mobile OTP have to do it once again through biometrics. For that they can visit Jana Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra. Currently, around 5L people are in the waiting/under process list,” the Deputy CM informed.
“We have also set up help desks comprising Anganwadi workers and CDPOs. They will visit every village with the help of people’s representatives and assist applicants facing problems. RIs have also been advised for field visits and resolve any land-related issues,” Parida added.
She advised applicants to put up their grievances in the Subhadra portal or visit the block office. Should problems arise, the Deputy CM also encouraged applicants to reach out to the block office, local sarpanch, or anganwadi workers with their grievances.
“The next course of action will be taken after the verification process is completed. We will talk to the CM and alert the new date of disbursement. Our government’s aim is to include every single eligible beneficiary. So, I request every one to take benefit of the ambitious scheme,” the Deputy CM concluded.
