In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha government has transferred as many as 20 Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) officers and given them new appointments as Block Development Officers (BDOs).
Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department has issued a notification in this regard.
The following OAS Officers have been transferred and posted as BDOs in different Blocks across the State:
Dasrathpur Tahaslidar Bikram Kishore Parida has been transferred as BDO of Niagiri in Balasore district.
Deputy Collector of Bonai Sovan Sritam Panda has been transferred as BDO of Rajnagar in Kendrapara district.
Deputy Collector of Jajpur Rasmi Ranjan Mallick has been transferred as BDO of Bhadrak
Deputy Collector of Rayagada Chinmay Mohananda has been transferred as BDO of Ullunda in Sonepur district.

Balikuda Tahsildar Alok Kumar Sethi has been transferred as BDO of Garadapur in Kendrapara district.

Anandapur Tahasildar Sangram Keshari Bhoi has been transferred as BDO of Banki of Angul district.
Gaisilet Tahasildar Titas Mahanandia has been transferred as BDO of Attamalik of Angul district.
Kandhamal Deputy Collector Rajendra Narayan Senapati has been transferred as BDO of Rairakhol in Sambalpur district.
Koira Tahasildar Anil Kumar Acharya has been transferred as BDO of Jharsuguda.
Malkangiri Deputy Collector Pralayananda Satpathy has been transferred as BDO of Narasinghpur in Cuttack district.
Gop Tahasildar Ranjan Kumar Parida has been transferred as BDO of Hatadihi of Keonjhar district.
Bhadrak Deputy Collector Khageswar Baral has been transferred as BDO of Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district.
Rairangpur Deputy Collector Manoj Mimar Mohanta has been transferred as BDO of Anandapur in Keonjhar district.
EO of Kabisuryanagar NAC in Ganjam district Sanjib Kumar Mohapatra has been transferred as BDO of Chandabali in Bhadrak district.
Chandabali BDO Asit Kumar Mohanty has been transferred as BDO of Bair in Jajpur.
Ex BDO of Binka Pramod Chandra Meher has been transferred as BDO of Bhatli in Bargarh district.
Bhatli BDO Saroja Behera has been transferred as BDO of Rajborasambar in Bargarh district.
Anandapur BDO Jogaranjan Naik has been transferred as BDO of Gania in Nayagarh district.
Ghatagaon BDO Bhagabat Prasad Mohapatra has been transferred as BDO of Tiring in Mayurbhanj district.
“In addition to the above, the transfer and posting orders of Sambeet Satapathy, BDO, Puri as BDO, Krushnaprasad vide this Deptt. Notification No. 22232 dated 26.09.2024 is hereby cancelled,” read the notification.
“Necessary approval of Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha has been obtained in the matter vide their letter No. 16004 dtd 30.12.2024,” it added.
