According to the party sources, in celebration of the BJP government completing a year in office, a significant meeting of the saffron camp MLAs was held at the party headquarters in the State Capital. The session was chaired by state BJP chief Samal.

During the meeting, it was decided that the Government's achievements over the past year would be highlighted and communicated to people at the grassroots level, aiming to build stronger public engagement and awareness.

The legislators were directed to ensure that development initiatives are made visible and relatable to the general public.

Apart from reviewing the year's milestones, the party also deliberated on future planning as well as the upcoming initiatives. The emphasis was on building momentum for continued governance and strengthening the party’s presence in all regions across the State.

This comes a day after Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a broader meeting with all Ministers, MPs, and MLAs. In this session, the CM had emphasised that the government’s developmental programs must reach the grassroots level and directed all representatives to actively engage in community outreach.

“A discussion was held under state BJP chief Manmohan Samal among the legislators in the presence of the organisation in-charge to reach out to people at the grassroots level. It was intended to let people know through the party organisation about the achievements of the Central government during the past 11 years,” Bhatli MLA Irasis Acharya said.

“A big transformation has occurred in Odisha in the past one year, which had not occurred in the last 24 years,” the Bhatli legislator stated.

Eleven of 21 promises fulfilled

“Promises were made by the BJP before the time when the party came to power. Eleven of its 21 promises have been fulfilled in the last year. Analysis is being done to find out ways to serve people can be served in a still better way. It is not about any celebration by the party,” Birmaharajpur MLA Raghunath Jagadala expressed.
