The Odisha BJP announced new district presidents, including Saroj Sabat for Ganjam, during a Berhampur meeting. They aim to implement government schemes effectively and strengthen the party's organisational structure in all districts of the State.

The Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) declared the appointment of new presidents to different districts in the State, on Saturday.

During a meeting held in Berhampur, attended by observers and senior BJP members, Saroj Sabat was announced as the new district president for Ganjam. Following this appointment, he expressed his commitment to ensuring that all government schemes are brought closer to the people at the grassroots level.

In addition, Berhampur Member of Parliament (MP) Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi expressed that plans and strategies of the ruling party will be strictly implemented to maintain a robust organisational structure in the days ahead.

The BJP also named other district presidents: Sribatsa Behera for Bolangir, Ras Bihari Behera for Dhenkanal, Sashank Sekhar for Kendrapara, Dr. Debendra Tarai for Puri, Ishwar Chandra Behera for Balasore, and Sukanta Biswal for Cuttack organisational districts.

“I extend my heartfelt thanks and congratulations on this occasion to all the leaders, active members, and party workers in Bolangir district, for their cooperation. We will strengthen the BJP organisation at the grassroots level in the district in the future. With inspiration and guidance of our leaders, we will make Bolangir the number one organisational district in Odisha,” the newly-elected president of Bolangir BJP Sribatsa Behera said.

“Bharatiya Janata Party is a democratic party. The party’s national president JP Nadda, Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal, state returning officer MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi, state in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, organisational head Manas Mohanty, all MLAs of Balasore district, and Bhadrak MP Abhimanyu Sethi have reposed faith in me and given me a significant responsibility,” the new president of Balasore BJP Ishwar Behera stated.

“I vow to sincerely discharge my duties by keeping coordination with the party workers in Balasore district, be it strengthening the organisation or achieving good results in elections,” Behera further said.
