Naba Das murder case: Former minister’s ECG report following shoot out goes missing
A new controversy has emerged in the high-profile Naba Das murder case, as reports suggest that the report of the ECG conducted after he was shot has mysteriously disappeared. This revelation was made by Gopal Das’ lawyer, Naresh Nayak on Wednesday.
According to sources, after being shot and admitted to the Jharsuguda District Headquarters Hospital, an ECG was conducted on former minister Naba Das. However, the preliminary chargesheet neither includes the ECG report nor makes any mention of it, raising concerns about missing crucial medical evidence.
The disappearance of the ECG report has sparked speculation, but the investigating agency has yet to respond to these allegations. The incident adds another layer of mystery to the case, leaving many unanswered questions.
Crime Branch Intensifies Investigation
The Odisha Crime Branch has stepped up its investigation, questioning Naba Das' wife for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. Her statement has been officially recorded and will undergo further scrutiny as part of the ongoing probe.
Probing Agency Records Statement of Doctors
Additionally, the Crime Branch has interrogated two doctors who had provided initial medical attention to Naba Das after he was shot. Their statements are expected to provide crucial insights into the case.

Late Minister’s Wife to Meet CM
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will meet Minati Das, wife of former minister late Naba Das at 5PM on Wednesday at the Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. This meeting comes after the family of Naba Das requested an appointment with the CM in connection with the investigation into the minister’s murder.
