Two youths have been arrested by the Mumbai police on Friday from Sahid Nagar in Bhubaneswar for allegedly duping youths on the pretext of providing jobs.

The accused have been identified as Rajendra Mallick of Jajpur and Sachin Digal of Kandhamal district. 

According to sources, the accused duo was cheating job seekers after luring them with false promises of employment. The accused were running a fake website to lure job seekers.

An FIR was registered against the duo at Mumbai police station. The police swung into action as per the FIR, traced out the duo, and arrested them in Bhubaneswar. 

About 37 mobile phones, 12 PAN cards, 25 SIM cards, and 38 debit cards were seized from the possession of the accused duo. 

Following their arrest, the Mumbai police took them on transit remand for further probe into the case.
