Barabati Stadium in Cuttack
Ahead of the much anticipated ODI match between India and England in Cuttack on February 9, 2025, fans can purchase tickets from the counters at Barabati Stadium on February 5 and 6. However, it has been learnt that ticket counters from the main roadside at the historical stadium will be shifted to another place on the premises to ease traffic congestion.
As per sources, the ticket counters will not be kept on the main roadside of the stadium. Rather, the counters will be shifted to a little bit inside to avoid traffic issues.
Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) sources revealed that special arrangements will be made for women ticket buyers. A special queue will be made for women. There will also be one female counter in every three male counters. A total of six ticket counters will be opened to sell tickets.
Special arrangements will also be made for fire safety. Fire retardant clothes will be available in the galleries. OCA has also brought a special liquid to extinguish the fire in case of fire on the DG seat.
In a bid to enhance the match-day experience and provide entertainment and amenities for spectators, a fan park will be set up within the Barabati stadium precincts for the first time. Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) sources informed that CCTV cameras will be installed at parking lots. The beautification drive near the stadium has already been started.
Moreover, as many as 4,000 tickets will be sold online for the fans.
