Goods train derails in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

A wagon of a goods train derailed near Bangiriposi Railway Station on Monday. 

As per reports, the modernisation work of Bangiriposi Railway Station is going on. A freight train carrying goods for the construction work was coming to the station when the mishap occurred. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

The wagon is said to have been derailed after a wheel snapped. 

Meanwhile, till the last reports came in, it was suspected that the Bangiriposi-Puri Superfast may get delayed in case the derailed wagon is not cleared from the tracks.
