A girl student was allegedly raped inside a hotel room at Madhupatna in Cuttack on Friday.
The incident came to the fore after the girl lodged a complaint at Madhupatna police station.
On the basis of her complaint, an employee of the hotel was arrested by Madhupatna police.
As per reports, the complainant is from outside Odisha.
Asked about the case, Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra said, “We have arrested one person in this connection. An investigation is on to ascertain the involvement of any other persons in this case.
