The 47th Foundation Day of Tulasi Women’s College in Kendrapara town was celebrated with great enthusiasm and promises of development on Sunday. BJP National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and pledged financial support for the institution’s campus infrastructure expansion.

The event drew an impressive gathering of students, faculty, and dignitaries. In his address, Panda underscored the importance of women’s empowerment in driving overall social progress. He announced his commitment to extend financial assistance from his Local Area Development (LAD) fund for the college’s infrastructure projects, a gesture warmly welcomed by everyone in attendance.
The celebration also included the felicitation of several meritorious girl students from various departments, honouring their academic achievements. The event reflected the institution’s dedication to promoting quality education and nurturing female leadership in the region.
Panda emphasised that strengthening women’s education is key to building a progressive society and praised Tulasi Women’s College for its role in shaping the district’s future.
“We are celebrating the 47th Foundation Day of our college today. Our MP Baijayant Panda was present with us as the Chief Guest on this occasion. The MP has committed to providing a sizeable amount from his LAD fund for the development of our classrooms,” said Principal Dr. Mathuri Charan Nayak.
“He (MP Panda) has also assured us of his valuable support for several other developmental activities in the college,” Principal Nayak added.
