Bomb Attack On Mohan Majhi
It was in 2021 when the new Odisha CM designate Mohan Majhi had faced a bomb attack on his vehicle. Majhi was then an MLA. Keonjhar Police subsequently arrested 5 persons including prime accused Pratap Rout, Bidyadhar Parida, Sarat Jena and others in connection with the incident.
All of them were arrested based on the complaint filed by Mohan Majhi. Police had released sketches of the accused based on CCTV footage. Accusing BJD’s involvement, the BJP had then staged a road blockade and demanded CBI probe into the matter.
