Cyber Police starts probe into ‘objectionable’ social media post on PM Modi

BJP leaders filed a complaint at the Cyber Police Station on Wednesday, demanding stern action against the BJD workers/leaders alleging their involvement in objectionable postings on social media

The Cyber police station on Thursday registered a case and started an investigation into a complaint filed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha alleging that the Biju Janata Dal (BJD)’s IT cell was behind the objectionable post on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Facebook.

As per reports, the Cyber Police has sent digital documents about the BJP’s complaint to Meta and started looking into the postings. Police said, that after reports are available from Meta, action will be taken against the accused.
