Class 10 student dies after being beaten by teacher in Odisha; family stages protest

A Class X student died after being allegedly beaten up by a teacher at his school. The shocking incident was reported from Bansidhar Vidyapitha, a school at Kuligaon under Khantapada police limits in Balasore district on Sunday.

As per a report, two students of Class 10 had a quarrel over some issues on Saturday. Later, a teacher at the school beat up one of those students.  

Today, the student complained of pain in his chest. The family members immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctor declared him received dead. 

The family members have reportedly lodged a complaint at the police station and staged a demonstration in front of the school by placing the body.
