As it is perfectly said ‘death knows no time’, tragedy struck a Kabaddi match organised at Tarabod village under Komna Police limits in Nuapada district when a 26-year-old player from Chhattisgarh fell ill and died minutes later.
As per reports, like every year, an inter-state Kabaddi tournament was organised at Tarabod village on the occasion of Durga Puja. The final match between a team from the Hatisara area in Nuapada district and a team from Dudumachua village in Chhattisgarh’s Mahasamund district was underway on the ground.
Just two and a half minutes were left for the game to finish. The onlookers were cheering up the Dudumachua team as it was on the verge of winning the game.
