Burglars struck again in Bhubaneswar, looting gold and cash from a house near Infocity. Victim Bansidhara Gouda reported the incident, marking the second such theft in 15 days.

Once again the burglars are on the prowl in Bhubaneswar. This time, thieves allegedly looted over 200 grams of gold jewellery and cash from a house located at Shri Ganesh Vihar area near Infocity Police Station on Saturday night. 

The criminals reportedly gained entry into the house by breaking a window and subsequently looted the valuables from a cupboard. Soon after the matter came to light on Sunday morning, Infocity Police was informed and a team of police personnel and a forensic team arrived at the scene for an investigation. 

“My wife and I slept around 11 PM last night. When we woke earlier today, my wife found the bathroom door locked from inside. When I went outside the house to look into the reason why the door was blocked, I found the bathroom window was already open and the loot had already happened,” said Bansidhara Gouda, victim.

As per sources, this is the second such robbery reported in the area in the past 15 days.
