BJP works out strategies to break into BJD’s women vote bank

In a bid to win this segment of voters to its side, the saffron party is going to organise a massive Mahila Samavesh (women’s congregation) at Bhubaneswar on February 10. It will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his visit to Sambalpur on February 3.

Ahead of the upcoming general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) which has been asserting to wrest power from the Biju Janata Dal(BJD) has set its sight on women voters, believed to be the core strength of the ruling party.
