Renowned international sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik has once again drawn national attention with a striking sand art sculpture at the Puri beach, commemorating the completion of 11 years of the PM Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.
Through his latest sand sculpture, Pattnaik has artistically highlighted the major milestones and campaigns of the Modi administration that, according to him, have elevated India’s global stature and contributed to its transformation into a developing powerhouse.
The artwork features symbolic representations of several landmark initiatives and national developments under Modi's leadership.
From the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to decisive counter-terror operations like Operation Sindoor, Pattnaik’s sand art captures moments that stirred public sentiment and national pride.
Pattnaik also intricately sculpted emblems and motifs representing flagship programs such as ‘Make in India’ and the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.
Further, each element in the sculpture is a nod to the government’s narrative of development, cleanliness, and self-reliance, offering a visual summary of the administration’s 11-year journey.

A Message Etched in Sand
Speaking about the artwork, Sudarsan Pattnaik stated that his sand art allows him to communicate messages of patriotism, unity, and progress to a global audience, using the medium of nature.
“In his 11 years of governance, PM Modi has accomplished landmark reforms and movements that have propelled India on the global stage. From long-standing demands like the Ayodhya Ram Temple to his leadership during Operation Sindoor, this sculpture here is a tribute to all of it,” said Sudarsan Pattnaik.
The installation, created on the golden sands of Puri beach, has already drawn large crowds and is being widely circulated on social media platforms, garnering appreciation.
