A love story made in Kota binds this IAS-IFS couple. In an inspiring tale of balancing matters of the heart as well as professional dreams, IFS Arushi Mishra and IAS Charchit Gaur’s story has caught the attention of many and for all the right reasons.
It so happened that Arushi Mishra from UP’s Prayagraj went to Rajasthan’s Kota to prepare for her JEE Mains examinations at a coaching center. Similarly, Charchit Gaur, a Kota native and also a well-known local genius, enrolled at the same center.

It was there that these two first bumped into one another’s life. Yet, they did not simply fall in love and settle.
Gaur was that bright young mind who earned India a perfect 500 out of 500 at the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) in Russia, setting a new world record.
Newspapers and media carried headlines with his name. Thereafter, praises of his intellect surrounded Mishra, whenever she went to the coaching center. As such, she could not help but feel intrigued by Gaur.
Without knowing they would one day tie the knot with each other, the two went ahead with their studies. While Gaur made his way into IIT Delhi for a B. Tech degree, Mishra earned her graduation from IIT Roorkee.
The duo kept in touch with one another throughout this time and their talks brought them closer with each passing day. Regardless, they were not prepared to settle for love just yet.
