Heavy rainfall waterlogging

Even as the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal has brought heavy rainfall to many districts of Odisha in the last couple of days, the IMD on Thursday predicted that there will be no respite from the wet spell for the next five days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the formation of a fresh low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal around August 13 that is likely to bring more rain for the next five days.
