A girl from Nayagarh district has brought laurels for Odisha by winning the prestigious beauty pageant show Dazzle Miss India Contest.
Pragnya Parnita, a native of Sunalati village in Nayagarh has beaten 30 other beauty contestants to win the hearts of millions of Odias.
Pragnya who studies physiotherapy at a private medical college in Bhubaneswar was the only contestant to take part in the pageant show from Odisha.

She participated in the show organised by Dazzle Miss India International in Noida on September 25 and after 5 days of successfully passing through the various stages of the competition, she surged into the grand finale of the contest where she emerged victorious.
Pragnya’s family is too elated over her stupendous success. Her mother termed her win as a befitting result of her five years of hard work and dedication to groom herself for the fashion industry.
"I urge all parents to realize the potential of their kids and help them fly with the wings of their dreams,” said Pragnya’s mother.
