Casteist remarks: Orissa HC directs Varsha Priyadarshini to appear before Delhi Police in 15 days

The Orissa High Court on Wednesday directed actress Varsha Priyadarshini to appear before the Delhi Police within 15 days in connection with a case filed against her for allegedly making casteist remarks against a staff of her husband and BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty .

Earlier on August 4, the High Court had granted interim relief to Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini , her mother and niece in connection with the case. 

North Avenue Police, Delhi had issued a notice to Varsha her mother and her niece to appear before it. Fearing arrest, Varsha had knocked the door of High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
