UGC Extends MPhil, PhD Thesis Submission Deadline By 6 Months
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited online application from Indian nationals for hiring the services of an Academic Consultant (1 post).
As per the official notification, interested candidates may submit their application complete in all respects duly supported by the relevant documents through online mode at www.ugc.ac.in/jobs. The last date for receipt of applications is October 31, 2021.
“The number of positions may vary. UGC reserves the right to not to fill the post without assigning any reason. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Applications received after due date shall not be considered,” the UGC notice read.

Details:
Post: - Academic Consultant (1 post) purely on contract basis Eligibility &
Essential: - First Class Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute
-NET in relevant discipline
Desirable: - Ph.D. Degree/Research
Experience
-Excellent Communication Skill
-Proficiency in Computer Application
Period of Engagement: Six months which may be extended further on the basis of the review of performance and conduct. However, the appointing authority reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any point of time without assigning any reason.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years Remuneration: Rs.70000-80000 p.m
Nature of Duties:
-Assist in formulation of academic documents, frameworks, guidelines and reports.
-Assist in providing academic support, research input and other related work.
-Any other work assigned by the competent authority. Method of Selection: The engagement shall be made on the recommendation of a duly constituted selection committee.
UGC reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the advertised position. The Courts at Delhi and Delhi High Court alone shall have the jurisdiction in case of any disputes.
