Devotees visiting Gundicha Temple on Friday will be able to have darshan of Lord Jagannath and His Siblings only till 6 PM, as per the schedule announced by the Srimandir administration. The evening darshan of Mahaprabhu will be closed to the general public after this time.
The closure has been implemented in view of Bahuda Yatra scheduled for tomorrow. As many important rituals are to be performed during the return journey of the deities, the temple premises will be cleaned and purified at the scheduled time.
According to the Srimandir administration, this decision was taken to ensure the smooth completion of several significant rituals involving the Sibling Deities. These preparations are considered essential for maintaining the sanctity of the rituals associated with Bahuda Yatra.
On the day of Bahuda Yatra, devotees will get the fortune to have darshan of Lord Jagannath and His Siblings seated on the chariot, offering them a sacred glimpse of the deities during the return journey to the main temple.
