Shaktimaan movie has been the talk of the town since its announcement. While Sony Pictures is yet to announce the lead actor and the director, recently, veteran actor Mukesh Khanna aka OG Shaktimaan talked about Allu Arjun as suitable for playing the superhero. But did you know Yash Raj Films was interested in obtaining the rights of Shaktimaan? Well, before Sony Pictures obtained the rights, YRF's Aditya Chopra offered to buy the rights, but Khanna rejected it and the reason is quite shocking.
During a conversation with Siddharth Kanan on his YouTube channel, Khanna revealed that YRF's team reached out to him almost 10 years back asking for the rights of Shaktimaan. For the first time, Khanna gave his nod to an actor, he thought would be a great fit for Shaktimaan's role. In his YouTube video, he said Allu Arjun's personality and on-screen presence make him a strong candidate for the superhero character. However, he also clarified that the Pushpa 2 actor is not confirmed to play the lead in Shaktimaan. The lead actor will be locked by Sony Pictures. However, this hint has elated the fans and elevated the excitement among all. Well, fans need to wait for further updates.
