Well, recent reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan might join Vijay Deverakonda in a movie with a historical backdrop.
Amitabh Bachchan's Potential Collaboration With Vijay Deverakonda!
According to a report by M9, Amitabh Bachchan might be joining Vijay Deverakonda in an upcoming film to be helmed by Rahul Sankrityan. Reports suggest that the untitled movie will be set against the backdrop of 1850s Rayalaseema, with an intriguing story.

The potential pairing of Vijay Deverakonda with the legendary actor indeed sounds exciting. Moreover, a faceoff between the duo would be a cinematic treat for moviegoers. However, at the same time, it has raised concerns among fans of the Kushi actor as Bachchan's commanding presence might overshadow his character and once again the Piku actor might steal the show.
Well, if the reports are anything to go by, fans have to wait if VD agrees to the grand opportunity of sharing screenspace with Sr AB as well as the credits.
However, there is no official confirmation regarding Big B's involvement in the project, tentatively titled VD14. Meanwhile, the project has already drawn the attention of moviegoers as the Liger actor will team up with Rahul after their hit flick Taxiwaala. The yet-to-be-titled flick will be produced under Mythri Movie Makers. Even reports suggest that Adipurush fame Ajay-Atul have been roped in for composing music. Moreover, Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo has been confirmed to play a pivotal role in the movie.
Kalki 2898 AD Sequel
Notably, the Indian dystopian sci-fi movie Kalki 2898 AD, combining Hindu epic Mahabharat with futuristic elements had an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani among others. Now, all eyes are on the Kalki 2898 AD sequel. Filmmaker Nag Ashwin recently spilt the beans on the shooting schedule of the sequel. With a target of releasing the movie by the end of next year (2026), Ashwin shared that the script is complete and they are waiting for bulk dates of Prabhas.
